Start with what you know
Start with tasks from projects, internships, study or work that you would choose to do again. Separate the subject you studied from the activities you actually enjoyed. A change in direction does not erase the skills you have already built.
Check the real options
Identify a specific learning gap before choosing another degree or certificate. Look at the work involved in a role, then compare that with your evidence. Ask whether a project, short course, portfolio or longer programme is the appropriate next experiment.
Make one useful next step
Prepare a short brief covering your current background, intended direction, time constraints and financial limits. A counsellor can help you examine trade-offs; neither this site nor a qualification guarantees a job, promotion or salary.
